Instructions ±AboutWelcome to the Pokémon IV Calculator! This tool allows you to determine the Individual Values (IVs) of any Pokémon based on their details. It can also calculate the Pokémon's stats at any given level and deduce the type and power of their Hidden Power move. If terms like IVs and EPs sound unfamiliar to you, don't worry! We recommend reading a Pokémon Training Guide before using this tool to familiarize yourself with these concepts. Here are some example use cases to get you started: Blacephalon, Dusk Mane Necrozma. User Interface
IV Calculation (make it look simpler?)* Fields marked with an asterisk are optional. ALWAYS TRACK YOUR EFFORT POINTS! It's important to track your Pokémon's Effort Points (EPs) accurately, as any errors can lead to incorrect calculations. If needed, you can reset their EPs by feeding them anti-vitamin berries. The Judge function in the PC Storage System is a useful tool that can assess your Pokémon's potential and identify the stats with the highest IVs. It will also notify you of any zero IVs. To unlock this function, visit the Stat Judge at the Battle Tree after hatching at least 20 eggs at the Pokémon Nursery. In the Calculator, you can use the CTRL/CMD key to select or deselect multiple stats simultaneously. For highly accurate results, you can use this calculator at level 20 and utilize a few Rare Candies. If you want to preserve your Rare Candies, make sure to save your game before using them. Single mode: The accuracy of the results increases with the Pokémon's level. If you're calculating the IVs of a low-level Pokémon, provide additional information such as leveling up, evolving, or changing its form. The "+Lv." and "+EPs" indicators show how many additional levels or Effort Points (at the same level) are required to refine the resulting IV spread. Note that alternate forms and Mega Evolutions can also impact the calculations. Team mode: This mode is useful for IV Battles. You can calculate the stats of multiple Pokémon at once. To do an IV Battle, gather a team of low-level Pokémon, battle with a friend online, and force them to level 100 . Then, write down their projected stats. Row mode: Use this mode to calculate and examine the details of the currently selected Pokémon in more detail. Stat CalculationThis feature uses the median IVs and input Effort Points to accurately calculate a Pokémon's stats at a given level. Hidden Power CalculationHidden Power's type is determined by a Pokémon's IVs. If you already know the type of a Pokémon's Hidden Power move, it can help in calculating the IVs. The Hidden Power psychic, located inside the Pokémon Nursery at Paniola Ranch, can provide you with the exact type of Hidden Power for a Pokémon. By using the IV spread (or median IVs if locked), you can calculate all possible combinations for Hidden Power. EP training tools
