Instructions ±About the Pokémon IV CalculatorThe Pokémon IV Calculator is a powerful tool that allows trainers to determine a Pokémon's Individual Values (IVs) based on its details. It also provides the ability to calculate stats at any given level and deduce a Pokémon's Hidden Power type and power. If terms like IVs and EPs sound unfamiliar to you, it's recommended to read a Pokémon Training Guide before using this tool to gain a better understanding of these concepts. Here are a few example use cases: Charizard, Blaziken User Interface
IV Calculation (Simplify the interface)* Fields marked with an asterisk are optional. ALWAYS TRACK YOUR EFFORT POINTS! Accurate Effort Point (EP) tracking is essential for precise IV calculations. If your Pokémon's Effort Points are inaccurate, the calculator may return errors. To reset EPs, feed your Pokémon anti-vitamin berries or use a Reset Bag in Super Training to erase all EPs. The Stat Judge, located in Kiloude City (X & Y) or the Battle Resort (Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire), can assess your Pokémon's potential and identify the stats with the highest IV. The calculator allows you to (de)select multiple stats using the CTRL / CMD key and provides notifications for ties and zero IVs. For accurate results at low levels, you can use a few Rare Candies to bring your Pokémon to level 20. It's recommended to save beforehand if you wish to retain the Rare Candies. Single mode: The accuracy of results improves with higher Pokémon levels. If you want to calculate the IVs of a low-level Pokémon, input the optional information and additional row data by leveling up, evolving, or changing its form. The "+Lv." and "+EPs" indicators show the additional levels or Effort Points required to refine the resulting IV spread. Calculations can also account for alternate forms and Mega Evolutions, enhancing accuracy. Team mode: Useful for IV Battles, this feature enables the calculation of multiple Pokémon simultaneously. Create a team of low-level Pokémon and battle with a friend online to force them to level 100. Then, record their projected stats for analysis. Row mode: Use this mode to calculate and examine the details of selected Pokémon in more detail. Stat CalculationUsing the median IVs and input Effort Points, the calculator accurately calculates a Pokémon's stats at the given level. Hidden Power CalculationThe type of a Pokémon's Hidden Power depends on its IVs. If you already know the type, it can aid in calculating the IVs. The Hidden Power psychic is a character who can reveal the exact type of Hidden Power for a Pokémon. In X & Y, the psychic is located in the second house to the east of Anistar City's Pokémon Center. In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, the psychic can be found in the second northern house to the east of Fortree City's Pokémon Center. Using the IV spread (or median IVs if locked), you can calculate all possible combinations for Hidden Power. EP Training Tools
